The B.Des in User Experience & Interaction Design emphasizes interdisciplinary and hands-on methods to foster innovation, focusing on design desirability, technological feasibility, and business viability. As a student, you’ll be equipped to innovate by identifying problems through design research, gaining insights through synthesis, and solving issues through design and prototyping experiences. You’ll learn human-centered design principles that align your work with user needs, as well as how to apply interaction design and design systems using industry-standard quality assurance methods. Additionally, you’ll gain skills in designing and implementing user interfaces.

Your training will include a blend of conceptual and practical work to develop strong UX design capabilities. As a user experience designer, you will prototype concepts to explore the integration of digital services with physical products and environments. As a UX researcher, you will conduct usability testing to uncover insights that create value for corporate clients and their customers. By the end of the program, you’ll compile your skills and achievements into a portfolio of design work, positioning you for a career in UX design. This program emphasizes practical discipline, relevance, and up-to-date knowledge essential for today’s expanding UX job market through in-class studio work, case studies, peer learning, live client projects, and work placements. Graduates will complete diverse and comprehensive workplace experiences over eight semesters. This course is affiliated with Mysore University through our academic partnership with Cresta School of Management, and you will earn a Bachelor of Design (Hons) in User Interaction and Experience Design.
